What does a SoftWave® session feel like?
Dr. Gignac will hold the SoftWave® applicator against your skin to deliver high-energy acoustic waves that penetrate deep into the body. Over healthy tissue, the treatment is comfortable. If you have an inflamed or injured area, you may feel some discomfort — this is actually diagnostic, helping us locate the exact area that needs attention. Most patients tolerate the treatment very well.
How much does each session cost after the Discovery Session?
After your initial Discovery Session, each subsequent session typically ranges based on how many regions of the body are being treated and whether SoftWave® is used in combination with chiropractic care or spinal decompression. Do I need to be a chiropractic patient to receive SoftWave® therapy?
No — SoftWave® TRT can be used as a completely stand-alone treatment. You do not need to be receiving upper cervical chiropractic care with us to benefit from SoftWave®. That said, many of our patients find that combining both therapies yields the most comprehensive and lasting results.
